Hello dear,
We’re off regular programming this week as I have some exciting news to share.
As you may know, I’ve been collecting donations for the past few weeks in an effort to make psychedelic healing more accessible to people.
Today, I happy to announce that I’m opening up applications for the first round of scholarships.
Here's what will be included:
Everyone who wants to be considered is invited to apply here for a full-ride scholarship to a psychedelic experience
Depending on the location, preferences, and needs of the awardee(s), we determine which setting will is the best fit (e.g., sacred grandmother and/or grandfather ceremonies with church communities in the US, 1:1 guided mushroom journey, and so on)
The retreat experience will be gifted in conjunction with a handful of 1:1 preparation and integration sessions (I'll offer a complimentary prep session for each individual and will direct to trusted integration specialists as needed)
If you’re curious if you qualify, here are the criteria taken into consideration:
You cannot currently afford to pay for a retreat or individual experience yourself
You suffer from mental ailments including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, addiction or any other life-altering mental state (e.g., loss and/or grief)
You’ve previously tried other treatments or therapies without lasting relief
You belong to a minority community (not a prerequisite, but certainly a consideration) - BIPOC, LGBTQ, individuals with disabilities, etc.
You’re in a position to receive this healing and have the support structures in place to integrate the experience
If you meet these criteria, please submit your application below. Applications will be open until the end of March. Please be as transparent as possible, as this will help me evaluate your application. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
If this is the first time you’re hearing of this initiative and you’d like to contribute, you can also donate via the fundraiser’s GoFundMe page below.
Whether you’re on the giving or receiving end - thank you, from the bottom of my heart, this would not be possible without this community.
With gratitude,
Julia
